چکیده

Pressure projection is the single most computationally expensive step in an unsteady incompressible fluid simulation. This work demonstrates ability of data-driven methods to accelerate approximate solution Poisson equation at heart pressure projection. Geometric Multi-Grid are identified as linear convolutional encoder–decoder networks and a smoother developed using automatic differentiation optimize velocity-divergence The new method found classic by factor two three with no loss accuracy on eleven 2D 3D flow cases including dynamic immersed solid boundaries. optimal parameters transfer nearly 100% effectiveness resolution increased, providing robust approach for accelerated flows.

An Unstructured-Grid, Parallel, Projection Solver for Computing Low-Speed Flows

This paper presents an overview of the issues associated with applying a domain-decomposition message-passing paradigm to the parallel implementation of both explicit and semi-implicit projection algorithms. The use of an element-based domain decomposition with an e cient solution strategy for the pressure eld is shown to yield a scalable, parallel solution method capable of treating complex ow...

Accelerated image reconstruction using ordered subsets of projection data

The authors define ordered subset processing for standard algorithms (such as expectation maximization, EM) for image restoration from projections. Ordered subsets methods group projection data into an ordered sequence of subsets (or blocks). An iteration of ordered subsets EM is defined as a single pass through all the subsets, in each subset using the current estimate to initialize applicatio...

GPU accelerated voxel-driven forward projection for iterative reconstruction of cone-beam CT

BACKGROUND For cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT), which has been playing an important role in clinical applications, iterative reconstruction algorithms are able to provide advantageous image qualities over the classical FDK. However, the computational speed of iterative reconstruction is a notable issue for CBCT, of which the forward projection calculation is one of the most time-consuming ...
